Integrated Microwave Photonics Enabling a Novel Scanning Receiver for Electronic Warfare

Integrated photonics has developed technological platforms ensuring broad electro-optical bandwidth and fast tunability in miniaturized formats. These features can be exploited for boosting new functionalities in RF systems. We present here a novel scanning receiver architecture for electronic warfare based on hybrid photonic integrated circuits.

Abstract

Integrated photonics has developed technological platforms ensuring broad electro-optical bandwidth and fast tunability in miniaturized formats. These features can be exploited for boosting new functionalities in RF systems. We present here a novel scanning receiver architecture for electronic warfare based on hybrid photonic integrated circuits.
