Advancing Target Localization Through Silent RF Over Fiber Communications

Radio direction finding techniques enable friendly units to determine the location of unknown electromagnetic emissions. Standard procedures make these units susceptible to detection. We present a system that silently detects and aggregates received radio transmissions using radio frequency over fiber systems.

Abstract

Radio direction finding techniques enable friendly units to determine the location of unknown electromagnetic emissions. Standard procedures make these units susceptible to detection. We present a system that silently detects and aggregates received radio transmissions using radio frequency over fiber systems.
