A Random Number Generator Using a Quantum Emitter in Nanoindented Hexagonal Boron Nitride
High-purity quantum emitters in hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) hold the potential for use as high-quality quantum random number generators (QRNGs). In this work, we verify a QRNG using a deterministically placed quantum emitter in nanoindented hBN with <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\mathbf{\sim 9 5 \%}$</tex> single-photon purity.
