Terahertz Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar

Using a novel THz radar, we generate inverse-synthetic-aperture-radar images of a rudimentary test target and experimentally demonstrate a cross-range resolution better than one centimeter. This work highlights the importance of this radar for detecting and characterizing small-sized targets for both space and terrestrial applications.

Abstract

Using a novel THz radar, we generate inverse-synthetic-aperture-radar images of a rudimentary test target and experimentally demonstrate a cross-range resolution better than one centimeter. This work highlights the importance of this radar for detecting and characterizing small-sized targets for both space and terrestrial applications.
