Measuring AQP4 Water Molecule Exchange Function in a Single Cell Model Using Inhibitors and Transfection [Presidential Award Proceedings]
We aimed to measure AQP4 function using the AQP4 inhibitor and transfection to generate HEK-293T cell models of AQP4 inhibition and overexpression. Td-dMRI was performed and differences in water diffusion were detected, suggesting that AQP4 function could be non-invasively suggesting the possibility of non-invasive assessment of AQP4 function.
