Smart contract micro royalty real time allocation models governance mechanisms for cross border digital cultural goods
As the global circulation of digital cultural goods accelerates, traditional royalty settlement models face increasing inefficiencies in managing low-value, high-frequency transactions across multilingual, multi-platform, and multi-jurisdictional environments. To address these challenges, this study proposes a real-time micro-royalty allocation framework that integrates smart contracts, cross-chain architecture, and multi-role governance mechanisms. A three-layer system architecture is designed, with core contract functions including weight allocation, revenue settlement, and time control modules tailored to the characteristics of cross-border digital cultural transactions. Through simulation experiments on Ethereum and Polkadot testnets, the system is evaluated on its performance in processing 5000-transaction batches, with respect to confirmation latency, allocation accuracy, and governance responsiveness. Results demonstrate significant advantages over conventional systems in terms of average confirmation time, gas consumption, and cross-chain throughput. Revenue distribution accuracy reached 99.7%, on-chain voting participation was 76%, and rule modification success rate was 89%, confirming the frameworks effectiveness and stability under culturally diverse governance settings. This research offers a scalable technological solution for royalty allocation in the global cultural asset value chain and provides empirical evidence for implementing decentralized governance models in multicultural contexts.
