Preface

Abstract The 16th International Particle Accelerator Conference (IPAC’25) was held in Taipei, Taiwan, from 1 to 6 June 2025. Scientific oral sessions took place at the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC), while the industrial exhibition and poster presentations were held in Exhibition Hall A of the Taipei World Trade Center. As the capital city of Taiwan, Taipei provided an exceptional backdrop for the conference—seamlessly blending modern infrastructure with a rich cultural heritage. Delegates were warmly welcomed by the city’s vibrant urban environment, genuine hospitality, and the unique interplay between innovation and tradition. For many participants, Taipei will remain one of their most memorable destinations in Asia. IPAC’25 was hosted by the National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center (NSRRC), with generous support from the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), the Bureau of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Department of Information and Tourism of the Taipei City Government, and the Ministry of Education. As the largest international conference dedicated to particle accelerator science and technology in 2025, IPAC’25 brought together over 1,000 scientists, engineers, students, and industry professionals from 37 countries and regions to exchange knowledge and explore the latest advancements in accelerator research and its applications. Its successful organization was made possible through the joint efforts and close cooperation of the accelerator communities across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
