Design and analysis of the integrated linear actuation module of the swash plate for piston pump/motor
Abstract To improve the linearity and efficiency of the displacement adjustment of the piston pump/motor, an integrated linear actuation module of the swash plate is proposed in this paper. First, four symmetrical hydraulic cylinders and two racks are designed to actuate the swash plate, ensuring a linear relationship between piston rod displacement and swash plate angle. Additionally, a variable-speed pump-controlled closed hydraulic system is designed to control the hydraulic cylinders, which can reduce leakage loss and improve the efficiency of displacement adjustment. Finally, a simulation model is established to investigate the performance of the proposed hydraulic system.
