Simulation analysis on dynamic response of aluminum alloy shell under pendulum impact

Abstract This paper conducts a simulation analysis of the dynamic response of an aluminum alloy shell under pendulum impact. By adjusting the falling angle of the pendulum to regulate the impact velocity and considering factors such as the mechanical properties of the aluminum alloy shell material, the dynamic response law of the aluminum alloy shell under impact is studied. The study finds that when the pendulum impacts the aluminum alloy shell at different speeds, the greater the impact velocity is, the larger the acceleration overload value of the aluminum alloy shell is, and the greater the equivalent stress it undergoes.
