Recent trends and future challenges of Non-Terrestrial Networks for Beyond 5G/6G

In recent years, the development of Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) has raised hopes for the realization of an advanced information and communication network that seamlessly connects the ground and space. In order to promote growth in a sustainable manner for the future, it is essential to advance technological and policy efforts to resolve these issues. In this paper, global trends related to NTN, as well as its role and future challenges, are introduced.
