A space time frequency parameter matching method for skywave over-the-horizon radar
In response to the challenge of multi-target parameter estimation in skywave Over-The-Horizon Radar (OTHR), this study proposes a spatiotemporal frequency parameter pairing method. The method first acquires target range and velocity parameters through RRange-Doppler (RD) joint processing. Subsequently, target azimuth parameters are obtained via an angle estimation algorithm. Finally, beamforming isolates echoes from a single direction, followed by one-dimensional Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) processing. By comparing the results with the RD spectral projection curves, precise spatiotemporal frequency parameter matching is achieved. Theoretical analysis and simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method exhibits clear principles, simple structure, and strong engineering practicality.
