STRATEGI KERJASAMA SATUAN TUGAS MARINIR PASMAR 1 DAN KODIM 0601/PANDEGLANG DALAM PENGAMANAN PULAU DELI DI BANTEN

Outermost islands play a strategic role as the frontiers of national sovereignty, making their security a crucial responsibility of state security apparatus. Although the government has established policies for managing and safeguarding these islands, implementation in the field still faces various challenges. Deli Island, located in Banten Province, is one of the outermost islands with both strategic value and vulnerability to security threats, including smuggling, illegal activities, and the potential movement of radical groups. Therefore, effective cooperation between the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) and the Indonesian Army (TNI AD) is essential to ensure stability and territorial security. This study aims to analyze the cooperation strategies undertaken by the Marine Task Force (Satgasmar) Pasmar 1 of the Navy and Kodim 0601/Pandeglang of the Army in securing Deli Island, as well as to provide recommendations for improving the effectiveness of this collaboration. The research applied a qualitative descriptive approach through in-depth interviews and field observations. The findings reveal that operational coordination and communication between the two units remain suboptimal, while differences in role perception hinder the effectiveness of joint tasks. This study recommends strengthening communication, refining coordination mechanisms, and conducting joint training to build mutual understanding and synergy. The novelty of this research lies in the proposed integrated cooperation strategy model that not only enhances the security of Deli Island but also contributes to the broader goal of national security and sovereignty in border regions.
