The weekly newspaper of the Armenian Diocese of Kuwait and its surroundings “Azdarar” in its publications pays special attention to the negotiation process regarding the Artsakh issue after the change of authorities in Armenia in May 2018. The newspaper constantly covers the meetings and discussions of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan with the official reports, and publications received from Armenian and other media. “Azdarar”, repeatedly referring to the statements of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, constantly promotes the idea that Armenia and Artsakh are going for the resolution of the issue by negotiating with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. The newspaper presents the position of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia N. Pashinyan, on the Artsakh issue, according to which Artsakh should become a participant in the talks, and the final decision should satisfy the peoples of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Artsakh. "Azdarar" covers all meetings between the leaders and foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, which, according to N. Pashinyan, were conversations and discussions on aligning the format of the negotiation process. The newspaper expresses its concern about Russia's potential change in attitude towards Armenia, and the resolution of the Artsakh issue reminding readers of the devastating consequences of Operation Ring in 1991s. “Azdarar” is bothered about the US President’s National Security Advisor John Bolton’s visit to Armenia and worries that it may have undesirable consequences for Armenia. The weekly newspaper criticizes Azerbaijan’s “caring, brother” Turkey for non-latent support to Azerbaijan in the Artsakh issue. “Azdarar” states that Azerbaijan does not go for a peaceful resolution of the Artsakh issue, propagates Armenophobia, continues to arm itself, and threatens to resolve the issue by force. “Azdarar” notes that N. Pashinyan's announcements about restarting talks “from point zero”, returning Artsakh to the negotiating table, "we negotiate whatever we want," and "Artsakh is Armenia and that's it" led to a deadlock in the negotiations of Arthakh issue. Taking advantage of this, Azerbaijan unleashed war in September 2020.
