Establishment of Mathematical Model for Heat Transfer in the Human Head and Computer Simulation of Temperature Field
Based on the tomographic images obtained from CT scans of real people's heads, this thesis simplifies the human head into a multi-layered composite medium composed of skin layers, bone layers and brain tissue layers. Considering the influence of blood flow and metabolism on heat transfer in the head, a heat transfer model of the head was established using CAD software and ANSYS-Fluent finite element software. We numerically simulated the 3D thermal process of the head in two states: 298K and 308K, and obtained the complete steady-state temperature field distribution of the head. The results show that there are certain differences in skin temperature in different areas of the head, and are greatly affected by ambient temperature. The maximum temperatures of the head skin under the two ambient temperatures of 298K and 308K are 305.93K and 306.63K respectively. The temperature distribution at the core of the head is relatively uniform and stable, and is close to the temperature of the arterial blood in the head.
