Remote sensing for monitoring abrasive destruction processes of the Taman peninsula
In the course of active development of technologies for obtaining and processing remote sensing data, the possibility of using remote methods for studying and monitoring natural disasters caused by exogenous geological processes – such as landslides and abrasion - is increasing. The article considers abrasion and landslide processes happened near the village of Peresyp, located on the Taman Peninsula. The study investigates the causes of destruction processes, as well as the dynamics of their spread. The article also considers the problem of state cadastral registration and options for solving it using monitoring of destruction processes.
