Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are fundamental to advancing scientific innovation and addressing complex societal challenges. This Voices piece gathers insights from eight researchers around the world, representing a range of disciplines and backgrounds, to discuss the importance of fostering a more inclusive scientific community. Their perspectives highlight how embracing diverse voices enhances creativity, drives ethical research, and ensures that science benefits everyone. Together, these voices underscore that supporting DEI in science is not only a moral imperative but also a motivation for meaningful discovery and societal progress.
