Research on the Environmental Perception and Autonomous Navigation System of Intelligent Tennis Court Special Vehicle

This paper proposes an intelligent tennis court special vehicle system based on environmental perception and autonomous navigation technology, aiming to realize its automatic cruising, positioning and obstacle avoidance functions. The system includes an environmental perception module and an autonomous navigation module. The environmental perception uses laser radar, camera and ultrasonic sensor to perceive the surrounding environment in real time and build a high-precision three-dimensional space map; the autonomous navigation system is based on the path planning algorithm and combines the vehicle's motion model to ensure that the special vehicle can drive autonomously in a complex environment. This paper further designs a global path planning algorithm based on the A* algorithm and a local path adjustment algorithm for dynamic obstacle avoidance. In addition, to verify the effectiveness of the proposed system, multiple simulation experiments were carried out. The simulation results show that the system can successfully realize automatic cruising in the simulated tennis court and has efficient obstacle avoidance capabilities. The navigation error of the system is controlled within 1.5%, and the average time for the vehicle to complete the task is shortened by 30% compared with traditional manual operation.
