NG-TCMS Wireless Network Security Risk Assessment
Aiming at the uncertainty and difficulty in quantifying indicators in the network security risk assessment of train wireless network control system, a strategy of attack tree and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is proposed to evaluate the risk of train wireless network control system, and it is applied to the risk assessment practice of Next Generation Train Control Monitoring System (NG-TCMS). The NG-TCMS architecture is firstly analyzed, and the network security threats it faces are identified. Secondly, based on the attack tree model, the occurrence path of security events is analyzed, and the probability of attacking leaf nodes and attack paths is calculated. AHP is then used to establish a mathematical model of the impact of security incidents, and the impact of these incidents is analyzed. The risk assessment value of NG-TCMS is calculated based on the probability and impact of security incidents. The results show that the proposed method can effectively evaluate system risks, predict attack paths, reduce the influence of subjective factors on the risk assessment process, make the assessment results more practical and instructive, and provide a scientific basis for formulating corresponding security protection strategies.
