Comparative and Analysis of Mixture Cure Model in R
This paper focuses on three <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\mathbf{R}$</tex> packages, smcure, GORCure, and npcure, applying the methods of all three packages to the same set of simulation or real data analyse. Although the methods of these three packages correspond to different data censoring conditions, this article will use a simple method to reduce the impact of the different censoring conditions. In this article, we give a brief introduction to the knowledge of mixture cure models and a brief introduction to the three <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\mathbf{R}$</tex> language packages we care about: smcure, GORCure and npcure. Then, a simulation data applying to the three methods, and the results are given. Finally, we analyze and compare the three methods again under a set of actual data.
