Construction of Civil Engineering Cost Information Management Platform and Application of Intelligent Algorithms

There are many problems in traditional cost management methods, such as scattered data, low processing efficiency and insufficient decision support, which seriously restrict the cost control and benefit improvement of civil engineering projects. Therefore, this study puts forward a solution to build an integrated and intelligent cost information management platform and introduce intelligent algorithms for cost prediction, cost optimization and risk management. This article elaborates on the comprehensive design of the platform's architecture, encompassing user, application, service, data, and infrastructure layers. It implements functionalities such as data gathering, integration, storage, management, along with user interface and interaction design. Additionally, the article establishes a cost prediction model, a cost optimization algorithm, and a risk management pre-alarm system, all grounded in intelligent algorithms, which are then applied to real-world projects. Empirical studies reveal that the platform notably enhances efficiency, precision, and decision-making capabilities in cost management. Furthermore, the intelligent algorithms yield positive outcomes: the cost prediction model exhibits high accuracy, the optimization algorithm offers an efficacious cost-saving strategy, and the pre-alarm system effectively mitigates project risks.
