Design and Implementation of a Computer Aided Cross Cultural Communication Platform

This paper discusses the necessity of designing and realizing a computer-assisted intercultural communication platform and its specific methods. By analyzing the existing barriers to cross-cultural communication, a platform design scheme based on artificial intelligence and natural language processing technology is proposed. This paper describes in detail the system architecture, functional modules and implementation steps of the platform, and verifies its effectiveness and practicality through experiments. A computer-assisted intercultural communication platform was designed and implemented in the experimental phase, and its performance was evaluated in three experiments. The results of the translation accuracy experiment showed that the average BLEU (Bilingual Evaluation Understudy) score of the platform was 0.796. The average satisfaction rating in the user satisfaction experiment was 3.7. In the communication efficiency evaluation experiment, the average time for users to translate a single text passage was 98 seconds. From the data conclusions, it can be seen that the platform performs well in improving translation efficiency and user satisfaction, but there is still room for improvement in translation accuracy.
