Research on Joint Monitoring Method for Cable Insulation Aging Based on Integrated AC/DC Signal
As the main carrier of energy transmission in distribution networks, cross-linked polyethylene cables are crucial for their safe and reliable operation.Due to the enclosed compact structure of cables, online monitoring of their insulation status is a major challenge. This article provides a comprehensive monitoring method for the transient and steady-state changes of cable insulation aging.A combined online monitoring method based on Hall AC and TMR (Tunnel Magneto Resistance) DC is proposed to achieve comprehensive detection of grounding short circuit faults and chronic insulation aging defects caused by long-term operation, And the effectiveness and practical feasibility of the proposed method were verified through experiments and simulations under complex topology structures. The research results of this article have great practical value and can solve the difficulty of non linear operation and maintenance of 10 kV cables.
