Research on Security Monitoring System of Library Based on Computer Vision
In recent years, computer vision technology has become a key technology in multiple fields, especially in the field of public safety, showing enormous potential. As an important place for knowledge dissemination, the construction and improvement of library security monitoring systems are crucial for protecting library property, maintaining reader safety, and ensuring order stability. This article discusses in detail the architecture design of object detection technology, facial recognition technology, and security monitoring system, including perception layer, transmission layer, data layer, application layer, and display layer. The system can analyze surveillance videos and issue an alarm if something is off, such as someone loitering in an inappropriate place. It improves the accuracy of identifying visitor identities, making resource monitoring more comprehensive, detecting abnormal behavior more sensitive, and generating reports much faster. Most importantly, it has also helped us reduce the occurrence of security incidents and increased reader's satisfaction with the library.
