Gas Assisted Injection Moulding Warehouse Transportation of Polypropylene Pallets
Abstract With the continuous innovation of science and technology, polymer materials are playing an increasingly important role in the modernization development of warehousing and transportation supply chains. Polypropylene (PP) is a common thermoplastic material, belonging to the category of polyolefin polymer materials. Its use in the preparation of pallets in storage and transportation chains can replace traditional wooden pallets that are vulnerable and of poor quality, and has multiple important significance. However, ordinary plastic pallets are difficult to meet the requirements for pallet stress, waterproofing, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, etc. during storage and transportation. This article uses advanced “gas assisted injection moulding” to prepare polypropylene trays, and explores the optimization of equipment and moulding processes. The results indicate that the preparation of polypropylene pallets using gas assisted injection moulding has good load-bearing capacity, applicability, long service life, and recyclability, which is beneficial for environmental protection.
