Purpose – This research aims to increase the production capacity and product competitiveness of the Farmer Women's Group Sinar Putri (KWT Sinar Putri) in Awu-Awu Village, Purworejo, by applying modern technology and digital-based marketing strategies. This goal is expected to support local economic growth and environmental sustainability in line with SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). Design/methodology/approach – The approach used in this research includes five main stages: socialization, technical training, technology implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and ongoing assistance. Data were obtained through interviews, direct observation, and qualitative evaluation of technology implementation and digital marketing in KWT Sinar Putri. Findings – Implementing technology such as vacuum and cup sealer machines increased production capacity by 20-30%. Digital marketing training successfully increased the market reach of KWT products through social media, which contributed to increased brand awareness and sales. The implementation of these technologies also resulted in extended product expiry dates, better waste management, and increased product competitiveness. Originality/value – This research is original in its approach to community-based MSME development that is integrated with aspects of sustainability and modern technology. This collaboration between universities and KWT is an example of good community empowerment practice and sustainable innovation application.
