Motor Parameter Identification for Compressors Based on the Improved DC Transient Method
Permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) used in compressors operate under wide load fluctuations and speed variations, resulting in significant internal current changes and strong mutual influence among electromagnetic parameters. Traditional motor models based on linear voltage equations fail to capture these variations accurately, compromising control performance. This paper introduces incremental inductance to characterize the self-inductance and cross-coupling inductance along the d-q axes. An improved DC transient method is designed to measure these parameters experimentally for accurate motor parameter identification.
