Developed the Controller System of PMSM and IM to Enhance the Performance EV and Train

The environmental problems, such as global warming, and carbon reduction through energy reduction, are drawing the attention of researchers. It is time to develop high-efficiency technology to meet demands. This paper is about new technologies for energy-saving railway vehicles based on permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) and Induction Motor (IM). This work describes the vector control for PMSM. Also, design a lag controller based on the mathematical analysis of the dq model. In our model, the speed controller is designed explicitly for the PMSM drive, which incorporates current control with load torque, whereas the speed control of IM is relatively simple. The implementation of the system must ensure maintainability and stability, so electrical circuit breakers are required. It is easy to control and prove all parameters using simulation in different forms using black block models. MATLAB/Simulink has been used to simulate the hybrid system of IM & PMSM, and finally, the result value of the system performance was checked. The result shows that the separation of the motors and inverters is supreme in applications of the railway and electric vehicles. That means the propulsion control device must be a 1C1M inverter that controls one motor. In addition, to achieve energy reduction and high efficiency, the propulsion control device should be developed with a compact and lightweight structure.
