<scp>MHD</scp> Flow Dynamics of Brinkman‐Type <scp>EO</scp>‐Based <scp>MoS</scp>2 Nanofluid Over a Rotatory Disk: Numerical Insights Into Cross‐Diffusion, Hall Current, and Reactive Transport

ABSTRACT In this article, the Hall and cross‐diffusion effects on magnetohydrodynamic engine‐oil based heat‐consuming reactive Brinkman‐type molybdenum disulfide (MoS 2 ) nanofluid with thermal radiation flowing over the rotating disk immersed in a porous medium were prospected. The constituted dimensional flow's directing coupled partial differential equations were reformed into dimensionless partial differential equations by facilitating the suitable scaling variables and thereupon solved numerically by riveting the finite difference scheme. The performance of the flow fields for diversified input parameters is demonstrated via graphical pictures while the shear stresses, Nusselt, and Sherwood numbers via tables by generating numerical data in MATLAB software. This research study entrusted that increased nanoparticles volume fraction enhanced the temperature field and decelerated both velocity fields. The temperature and both velocity fields intensified by the radiation and Dufour effects, but these fields were decayed by the heat absorption processes. The concentration and both velocity fields amplified by the thermo‐diffusion effect. The magnetic field and rotational aspects heighten the secondary velocity and reduce the primary velocity. Both velocity fields decreased by the Brinkman parameter, and the opposite trend was noted with the Hall parameter. The Soret and Dufour effects caused to strengthen the primary shear stress and experience opposite impact in secondary shear stress. The primary shear stress is repressed due to the Brinkman and Hall parameters, and secondary shear stress raises. The Nusselt number upsurges for growing Dufour and radiation parameters, but the time factor has exposed opposite tendency. Increasing Schmidt number and Soret influence assist to deepen the Sherwood number. Furthermore, we accomplished a validation with earlier published outcomes, and an outstanding accord is achieved.
