Bioinspired Heterogeneous Spheres with Tunable Helical Structure for Accurate and Efficient Control of Sugar Blood Level (Adv. Mater. 35/2025)
Bioinspired Heterogeneous Spheres Inspired by the morphology and helical motion of Phacus helicoides, millimeter-sized spheres with an inner helical structure can imitate the micro-mixing and metabolic processes, including the adsorption, catalysis, and release capacity of Phacus helicoides. They can effectively absorb the glucose, catalyzed glucose, and eventually released the hypoglycemic drugs. More details can be found in article number 2504878 by Tao Chen, Chaobo Huang and co-workers.
