A Polychromatic Neuromorphic Visual System Inspired by Biomimetics for Miniature Insect Robots (Adv. Mater. 35/2025)
Miniature Insect Robots Insect-inspired neuromorphic robots equipped with bulk heterojunction organic photosynapses (BHJ-OPS) exhibit ultra-broadband visual perception from UV to NIR, with energy-efficient synaptic responses down to 0.2 fJ. By mimicking biological visual processing and learning behavior, Qingchen Dong and co-workers report in article number 2416649 the miniature biological hybrid robot which can achieve intelligent motion control, enabling complex tasks such as night-time foraging and predator evasion in dynamic environments.
