Hybridization of a cultural heritage object in the process of historical development (exemplified by the City Bank building in Ufa)

The study aims to identify and analyze the negative consequences of hybridization leading to the loss of historical and architectural value of an object, using the example of a cultural heritage object (the City Bank building in Ufa). The article analyzes an architectural object that, in the course of historical development under the influence of temporary circumstances and the environment, undergoes various losses and deformations that distort the image created by the architect. During the reconstruction period, changes are made (additions of floors, transformations in the design of the facade, etc.), presented as insignificant, but turning the building into something new, hybrid, less valuable in cultural and historical understanding. The introduction into scientific use and the presentation of a new view on the process of hybridization of cultural heritage objects in the field of architecture allows us to speak of scientific novelty, which consists in the inclusion of new information, concepts and a description of the process of “rebirth”, which contributes to the reassessment of the current situation in architecture and the search for optimal solutions in reconstruction works. As a result, based on the analysis, new concepts (“hybridization” and “hybrid”) are formulated in architecture, which will enrich the terminological diversity of the professional dictionary, contributing to theoretical development and problem solving in the field of architecture.
