Neutrino phenomenology with μ−τ reflection symmetry breaking in a standard model extension with (Z2×Z4) ⋊ Z2(I) symmetry

We propose a renormalizable lepton mass model with [Formula: see text] symmetry in the framework of the Type-I seesaw mechanism where the [Formula: see text] reflection symmetry is broken by the contribution of the charged-lepton sector. The hierarchies of lepton masses can be naturally realized and the lepton mixing is addressed only within two orders of magnitude of Yukawa couplings, from [Formula: see text] to [Formula: see text] for NO and from [Formula: see text] to [Formula: see text] for IO. The atmospheric neutrino mixing angle is predicted in the range of [Formula: see text] for both normal ordering (NO) and inverted ordering (IO) which lies in the upper octant, the Dirac CP phase is predicted in the range [Formula: see text] for NO and [Formula: see text] for IO which all lie in the lower half plane. The predicted intervals of active neutrino masses are [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] for NO whereas [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] for IO. The predicted intervals of the sum of neutrino mass and the effective neutrino mass are [Formula: see text][Formula: see text]meV and [Formula: see text] for NO while [Formula: see text][Formula: see text]meV and [Formula: see text] for IO.
