Analysis and Design of Wireless Power Transfer System for DC and AC Applications

Electrical power is essential to contemporary systems. From minuscule sensors to satellites, remotely operated aircraft, vehicles, and robotics, it is essential to transmit electricity via methods other than cables or transmission lines. Wireless power transfer enables systems to function remotely without requiring substantial energy storage equipment or frequent maintenance. It will also be used in situations where joining cables is impractical, dangerous, or unlikely, such as in moist environments, rotating or moving joints, and for powering distant communications equipment. Wireless electricity would enhance the security of electrical systems by eliminating the risk of electrocution and preventing power failures caused by short circuits or cable faults. Therefore, in this paper, three WPT circuits have been designed and simulated using Matlab Simulink. Further, an experimental investigation of the WPT system was conducted. Results obtained from both simulation analysis and experiment investigation are quite interesting.
