Application of LoRa-based intelligent wireless temperature measurement system in power plant equipment monitoring
Based on the restrictions of conventional thermal monitoring methods in power plants such as limited real-time performance, high cost of wiring and lack of early warning capability, this study proposes an intelligent wireless temperature measurement system. The system integrates multi-protocol wireless transfer 5G/LoRa/ZigBee and cloud analytics platform to achieve real-time fault localization and dynamic threshold optimization to have a false alarm rate effective reduction. The system is adaptable of adapting a hybrid sensor network architecture to complex power plant environments; a new dynamic threshold algorithm that combines environmental factors and equipment aging; and validation of cross-industry applicability in thermal control and freeze prevention solutions. Field tests demonstrate significant advantages over existing solutions in terms of reduced maintenance costs and improved plant operational efficiency.
