Energy management Strategy for Extended-range Electric Vehicles Based on fuzzy control

Among the methods to improve the fuel economy of extended-range electric vehicles, improving the energy management strategy is one of the important methods. Taking a certain extended-range electric vehicle as the research reference object, the multi-point power following energy management strategy and the fuzzy control energy management strategy are established respectively. The vehicle modeling of the control strategy of the extended-range electric vehicle was carried out using MATLAB/Simulink, and the comparative simulation experiments of the multi-point control energy management strategy and the fuzzy control energy management strategy were conducted under the combined working conditions of US06 and NEDC. The results show that, on the premise of meeting the dynamic requirements, compared with the multi-point control strategy energy management, the fuzzy strategy energy management has decreased both fuel consumption and economic cost.
