Research and Application of Key Technologies for Flexible Architecture of Bay Control Unit Devices
With the rapid development of digital substation, the Bay Control Unit are more refined according to the application occasions. Due to the fixed function and external characteristics of the traditional Bay Control Unit, and the strong coupling of the ICD profile of the device communication and the hardware and software, it is difficult to achieve flexible expansion, which is not conducive to the later maintenance. This paper introduces a flexible architecture of the Bay Control Unit based on the concept of “Software-defined hardware”. The key technology for the measurement and control function and hardware configuration can be visualized according to the actual requirements. The device defines the corresponding function and the hardware characteristics, and combines the configuration with the high flexibility and scalability of the communication model, which significantly improves the adaptability and intelligence level of the system
