Vibration and Noise Optimization Analysis of Washing Machine BLDC Motor
Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) motors have seen substantial adoption in home appliances, particularly washing machines, necessitating the optimization of their electromagnetic characteristics to reduce vibration and noise. This study focuses on enhancing the operational performance of washing machine-deployed BLDC motors by meticulously optimizing stator slot geometry and count. A 36 -slot, 8 -pole single-V internal rotor architecture is selected for analysis, with electromagnetic force simulations conducted for rectangular, trapezoidal, and pear-shaped slot configurations. Results show that the trapezoidal slot configuration significantly improves motor running stability and noise suppression.
