Voltage-Constrained Optimal Stator Current for Torque Ripple Minimization in IPMSM Across Wide Speed Ranges
This paper investigates the torque ripple minimization problem in interior permanent magnet synchronous motors (IPMSMs). A dynamic optimized multiobjective collaborative solution for stator current across wide-speed-range operations is proposed, which considers the limitation of inverter direct-current (DC) voltage and sets different optimization objectives for low- and high-speed regions, effectively solving the performance balance problem of existing torque ripple suppression methods across different speed ranges. The determined optimal current comprehensively compensates torque harmonics induced by various motor design factors, significantly enhancing torque stability under complex operating conditions. Comprehensive simulation validation was conducted to confirm the validity of the proposed methodology.
