Analysis of a Trip Accident Caused by Short Circuit Impact of 35kV Side Outlet Cable of the Main Transformer
Power cable is the backbone of the power system, once the failure will produce significant losses. The analysis of power system faults can not only prevent similar faults from happening again, reduce the loss caused by power faults, but also find the hidden dangers of transmission lines in time, so as to prevent them before they occur. In this paper, a trip accident of main transformer caused by cable short circuit impact is introduced in detail. Firstly, the anti-short circuit ability of transformer is analyzed, and the influence of transformer is excluded. Secondly, the fault development process of cable is analyzed by the fault record wave shape at the protection action time. Finally, the cause of the failure was determined by disassembling the cable. Based on the above research process, in order to prevent cable faults, this paper puts forward suggestions on the safe operation and fault prevention of cable lines.
