Evaluation of SAR Scene Deception Jamming Based on the Differences in Texture Direction and Statistical Characteristics

With the widespread application of SAR technology, electronic countermeasures against SAR systems have become increasingly fierce. Among them, scene deception jamming technology has become one of the most threatening jamming methods due to its strong concealment and high efficiency and cost ratio. At present, SAR interference effectiveness evaluation mainly relies on subjective interpretation or objective methods based on statistics. The subjective method is susceptible to human factors and lacks reliability; while the objective method has quantifiable advantages, it fails to fully consider the impact of SAR electromagnetic wave detection direction on the interference effect, resulting in the evaluation results being not comprehensive enough. To solve the above problems, this paper proposes an interference effect evaluation method based on the differences in texture direction and statistical characteristics of SAR images. This method combines the differences in texture direction and statistical characteristics. First, threshold segmentation and edge detection techniques are used to extract the texture direction difference between the interference area and the background area, and then principal component analysis is used to quantify the angle difference; Secondly, combined with gray level co-occurrence matrix and histogram distribution analysis, the texture similarity and color distribution consistency between the interference area and the background are evaluated, so as to comprehensively evaluate the impact of scene deception interference, and finally form a comprehensive evaluation indicator-texture difference. This method can overcome the shortcomings of traditional evaluation methods and provide more accurate and comprehensive interference effect analysis.
