Research on Passive Wireless Temperature Monitoring Method for Switchgear Based on Surface Acoustic Wave Sensor Technology
With the continuous advancement and intelligent development of power system equipment, temperature monitoring has become an important aspect of ensuring the safe operation of switchgear. Traditional temperature monitoring methods largely rely on active sensors, which face issues such as high energy consumption, complex wiring, and maintenance difficulties. To overcome these shortcomings, this paper proposes a passive wireless temperature monitoring method based on surface acoustic wave (SAW) sensor technology. The method leverages the high sensitivity, low power consumption, and wireless transmission characteristics of SAW sensors to enable real-time temperature monitoring within switchgear, without the need for external power supply. This paper analyzes the principles and characteristics of SAW sensor technology in detail, designs a sensor system suitable for switchgear temperature monitoring, and experimentally verifies the temperature monitoring accuracy and stability of the system under different environmental conditions. The results indicate that the passive wireless temperature monitoring method based on SAW sensor technology provides high precision and stability, effectively meeting the temperature monitoring needs of switchgear.
