Application Analysis of Windowed Rife Algorithm in Engineering

In this paper, the Rife frequency estimation algorithm is studied and analyzed from the perspective of engineering application. As a supplement and extension of Rife frequency estimation algorithm, the Rife estimation formula for Hamming window is also deduced. Meanwhile, aiming at the problem that Rife algorithm is sensitive to SNR, a kind of evaluation criterion is established and used to define the applicative range of SNR and confidence interval of Rife estimation algorithm under several common window functions, which are rectangular window, Hanning window and Hamming window. The research in this paper provides a certain reference for the engineering application of Rife algorithms.
