Modeling Method for Relay Protection and Automatic Devices Based on Configuration
In the context of abnormal or faulty conditions within regional transmission and distribution networks, the accuracy of relay protection and automatic device modeling is crucial for simulating these networks effectively. This paper introduces a novel configuration-based modeling method for relay protection and automatic devices. The method begins with a comprehensive analysis and summarization of the structures and principles of numerous relay protection and automatic devices, from which a customizable model is abstracted. Subsequently, the system's tools are employed to configure models for relay protection and automatic devices in actual systems, thereby constructing new models. Using the high-voltage transmission line protection device RCS-9611A as a case study, this paper demonstrates the application of the proposed configuration-based modeling method for relay protection and automatic devices.
