Crc Check Algorithm and Performance Analysis Based on Parallel Computing

A parallel CRC16 calibration algorithm based on Verilog is proposed in this paper, which improves the computational efficiency through parallel computation and solves the shortcomings of the serial computation method. Firstly, this paper introduces the principle of CRC check in detail and analyzes the difference between traditional serial CRC and parallel CRC in computation flow and performance to address the inefficiency of serial CRC in processing high throughput data. In this study, a parallel CRC16 calibration algorithm is designed, which processes multiple bits of data per clock cycle, significantly improving processing efficiency. Through simulation tests, the differences in throughput, latency and computational efficiency between serial CRC and parallel CRC are studied and compared. The experimental results show that the parallel CRC improves the throughput by 8 times compared with the serial CRC and significantly reduces the latency by 75%, which verifies the effectiveness of the parallel computing scheme in improving performance. In this paper, a Verilog-based parallel CRC16 verification scheme is proposed, and its advantages in high throughput and low latency scenarios are verified by simulation. Future research can be extended to higher-order CRC verification standards.
