Numerical Calculation and Optimization Design of Acoustic Field for Self-Calibrating Electret Condenser Microphone
With the rapid development of science and technology, the application of self-calibrating electret microphones in audio processing, noise monitoring, and automatic control is becoming increasingly widespread, and their accuracy and stability directly affect the results of acoustic measurements. Performing acoustic field numerical calculations before designing a self-calibrating microphone device can accurately analyze the performance of the microphone under different working conditions. Through simulation, the influence of different design parameters on acoustic field characteristics can be explored, and optimization design can be carried out to reduce trial and error costs. The traditional design process usually requires multiple prototype manufacturing and experimental verification, which is difficult to meet the increasingly complex practical application requirements. Therefore, based on the theory of finite element simulation, this article conducted finite element simulation analysis and acoustic field numerical calculation on the selfcalibrating electret condenser microphone as the object. In addition, this article also studies the influence of different design parameters (such as aperture size and layout) on the acoustic field characteristics through simulation, in order to optimize the design. Experiments have shown that both aperture size and layout have a certain impact on the sound field. When the aperture size is in the range of 0.65 mm 0.85 mm, the simulation output results are more in line with the numerical calculation results. Moreover, using a uniform aperture method is more suitable for device design than a circular layout method. The experiments provide visual results and reference value for device optimization design.
