Research on Robotic Arm Trajectory Simulation Using Intelligent Optimization

With the rapid development of Industry 4.0, robotic arms, as a crucial product in modern industrial applications, have a significant impact on industrial progress. Firstly, this study examined the kinematic mathematical modeling of a six-axis robotic arm by defining the D-H coordinate system and developing forward and inverse kinematic solutions. Secondly, a Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm was used to optimize the motion trajectory of the six-axis robotic arm, obtaining the shortest path for trajectory motion in the presence of predetermined obstacles. Finally, MATLAB and the Robotics Toolbox were employed to simulate the six-axis robotic arm, conducting a trajectory simulation analysis based on the predefined path. By combining theoretical algorithm research with simulation studies, the feasibility and effectiveness of the robotic arm model were validated, providing a solid foundation for future robotic arm design and application.
