Deep Learning Approaches for Object Detection in Challenging Environments

In order to help vegetable farmers increase tomato yield, it is crucial to identify diseases and pests accurately. Unlike traditional pattern recognition methods, deep learning techniques for identifying illnesses and vermin can directly input the original image. A variety of diseases and pests can affect tomatoes during their growth process, and if they are not controlled in a timely manner, it could result in reduced yield or even crop failure. To expedite the acknowledgment procedure and address the issue of the individually intended extractor of features finds it difficult to extract the feature expression that is most similar to the object's natural attribute, the from end to end framework is used in place of the time-consuming steps involved in the traditional method, such as preprocessing an image, extraction of features, and feature categorization. Deep learning object detection has the potential to save a considerable deal of time and effort, as well as provide real-time judgement and significantly lessen the significant losses brought on by illnesses and pests. This has crucial research implications. In this study, a real-world dataset of pests and illnesses affecting tomatoes will be created. The Yolo V3 model's feature layer will be optimised using the picture pyramid to accomplish multiple scales feature identification, increasing both the speed and precision of the detection process. Based on the most recent discoveries in identification theory using deep learning object recognition and the features of tomato pests and diseases images, the place and type of Pests and illnesses affecting tomatoes will be promptly and precisely recognised. With the help of the aforementioned research, a significant advancement in the field of tomato pest image recognition in a natural setting has been made. This advancement serves as a model for the intelligent identification and detection of pests and diseased plant use in technology.
