A Fast LHCP/RHCP Reconfigurable Method With $\theta$-Axis Conjugate Symmetry Shaped Pattern Synthesis for Planar Rotated Antenna Array
In this letter, a fast reconfigurable left-hand circular polarization (LHCP)/right-hand circular polarization (RHCP) method is presented to synthesize <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"><tex-math notation="LaTeX">$\theta$</tex-math></inline-formula>-axis conjugate symmetric shaped pattern with both sidelobe level (SLL) and cross-polarization level (XPL) control for planar rotated antenna arrays. The approximate conjugate symmetry property about <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"><tex-math notation="LaTeX">$\theta$</tex-math></inline-formula>-axis of LHCP and RHCP patterns for a planar rotated antenna array is discussed and employed to reduce the complexity of synthesizing LHCP/RHCP reconfigurable shaped pattern computation. Finally, two representative numerical examples demonstrate the synthesis of reconfigurable LHCP/RHCP <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"><tex-math notation="LaTeX">$\theta$</tex-math></inline-formula>-axis conjugate symmetric shaped patterns with SLL and XPL control, validating the effectiveness of the proposed method.
