ACTIVITIES OF BELARUSIAN ARCHAEOLOGISTS DURING THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

The article is devoted to the history of Belarusian archaeological science during the Great Patriotic War. The issues of the fate of Belarusian archaeologists in wartime (K. Palikarpovich and V. Tarasenko) are considered. The work of scientists in evacuation is separately analyzed. The importance of the participation of Belarusian scientists in the All-Union Archaeological Conference in Moscow, which took place in February-March 1945, is considered.
