Study on Changes in Emissions Due to Preparation of a Plan to Reduce Hazardous Pollutant Emissions Reduction Plan

This study analyzed the change in the amount of hazardous pollutant emissions reduced from 2018 to 2023, focusing on the preparation of emission reduction plans. The analysis was focused on the nine substances subject to the emission reduction plan. The emission reduction plan for hazardous pollutant emissions was found to reduce emissions by about 30%, but the amount of emissions increased by about 1.3 times. Among the nine substances subject to emission reduction, the emission of substances such as Trichloroethylen, Dichloromethane, and N,Ndimethylformamideaccounted for the majority, and showed an increasing trend. Most hazardous pollutant were emitted into the atmosphere, so continuous monitoring is necessary in the future. The emission reduction plan is disclosed through local governments, but communication with residents is still insufficient. Accordingly, continuous information disclosure and management are necessary, and companies need to make efforts to more actively reduce hazardous chemicals on their own.
